Fuck you this is Obama's America: healthcare legislation and Duke Atriedes edition

Baron Vladimir Harkonnen (here played by Fox News), the Bene Gesserit (here played by the neocons), and the great Houses of the Landsraad, united with their galactic force and plans within plans were certain to defeat the young Duke Paul Atreides (here played by Barack Obama).

Their wealth, their power, their order was, at all costs, to be preserved.

With the uncanny mind-bending, shape-shifting, time-altering, power-changing abilities of a Kwisatz Haderach, Barack Obama has, for now, to the great surprise of all, prevailed. And healthcare legislation shall pass.

The battle won, he understands the war is not over.

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, America embraced Reaganomics. For many, this was good. For some, this was very good. For millions, however, tens of millions, in fact, this has been a failure. While sublime in theory, the harsh reality of Reaganomics was that within a generation, millions of hard-working Americans found themselves deep in debt, unable to keep up, with trouble affording a good home, healthcare, college for the kids -- and a miserly retirement.

Yet, for many (here played by the dread Sardaukar), the benefits of Reaganomics were so good, so very, very good  that they marched together, the soldiers of a galactic empire, a  to ensure the continuation of this order. President Obama understands, deeply, that Reaganomics has resulted in a redistribution of wealth across this great country that is historically anamolous. He has begun the long, arduous process of returning America to those pre-Reagan days.

Of course, like riding a giant sandworm and aligning with the Fremen (here played by the Tea Party), danger is at every turn, alliances can be bought and broken, the lowly Fremen may rise up today with freocious might but may be once again easily subdued.

We are in volume 1 of this tale.

Godspeed, America.
